I was blog hopping last night & came across this calendar which had been made by Bird Cards it is an easel card which I have added to a little bit. Firstly if you do not know how to make an easel card, then go to Splitcoaststampers
Here you will find the tutorial and measurements.
I have used papers again from stash, flowers by Prima & cream organza ribbon and used my Crop O Dile to make bronze eyelets to enable me to keep the card upright & more stable. The calendar came from Bird cards as above.

Thistle
I think this is a thistle......... I had coloured in the image ages ago & not done anything with it, anyway out it came today & I made this card. Once more it is coloured with Prismacolors. I have 72 colours & have just ordered a few more...lol. The stamp is by Elusive Images. Papers again from my stash. I have Cuttlebugged the yellow stripe paper with the Swiss Dots folder & used a Fiskars punch on the side. Flowers from Prima & the sentiment, I got from a K & Co kit I bought from QVC ages ago which has lots of these sentiments in amongst other embellishments. I also coloured it with a Prisma pencil to match the card colours.

Tilda
I had already coloured this image in a while ago with of course Prismas, so thought I would make use of it, all the papers were from my stash, some of them came free from magazines collected over time. Tore a couple of pieces to add texture & layered them on to the card. Tilda is mounted onto card, but I cut around her using fancy scissors, remember them? I have said to myself that I will make more use of what I have this year (not including images) rather than keep collecting and not using things after a while. The flowers I had downloaded ages ago from elementalpixie.blogspot.com and I reduced them in size in Word & printed them out, I then used small Prima flowers in the centre with a jewel. The sentiment is a Cuttlebug small folder, using the same card as the mount on Tilda.

Teddy Bear
Another Digital Ink Co image that I got from the newsletter. Coloured once more with Prismas & blended with Sansador. Mounted 2 pieces of thin card together to give the layered colours, green & yellow. Used paper from stash to create the frame effect & stamped with a Cuddly Buddly sentiment stamp. At the bottom, used a Glitter Girl board to give a wavy line for a border.
Cheeky Boy
I received a free stamp from Digital-Ink co as I have their blinkie on my blog, isnt he gorgeous? I thought this could be a mans slightly humorous card. I am pleased with the shading of the body, although you may not be able to see it clearly in the photo. The papers were in my stash, the sentiment I printed off Greetings Card Factory and as the backing papers has stitching, I thought I would carry on the theme and add stitching around the topper & the plain backing paper.

Teenagers card
Aren't these the hardest cards to make? I found some digital images from Cuddly Buddly called Techie Teens. This is the mobile phone one which will be great for one of my nephews. The backing paper is from Jak again (see below) from her yellow hibiscus download. Sentiment from Greetings Card Factory printed onto same papers as the matting on the main image.
Valentines
Now I know that we are only just over Christmas but I bought some digital downloads from Cuddly Buddly that are all elephants. This one just lends itself to a Valentines Day card. I coloured it with Prisma pencils & Sansador and I am pleased with the result, I seem to have got the shading quite well although I say it myself. Papers from stash and sentiment printed from Greeting Card factory.
Hibiscus
After a session on the Wii yesterday & knowing it, followed by a walk across town to get papers this morning, I thought I deserved to have a play.So this card is from my crafting friend Jaks blog where she had designed these hibiscus sheets.http://crafterskitchen.blogspot.com. I have just added some jewels and used her backing paper & decoupage.

Mens cards
This one is also using the same CD as below together with a background CD by the same person, again all for men.
This is using an image from a CD Kraft Kardz 2005 which is all mens images etc, I think I bought it from E Bay years ago. I used a peel off, yes a peel off for the sentiment. Backing papers from stash.
This one is using a Glitter Girl board.
After making the hibiscus card, I decided to make a few mens cards as I need a few over the next month and had run out. I hate doing mens cards, they cant be embellished like a womens card, so have kept them simple.

The first one is Crafters Companion Popcorn The Bear, I coloured him in using Prosmacolor pencils & blended using Sansador & blending stumps and sentiment is Anna Griffin with the backing paper from an internet download from years ago that I am sorry I can no longer remember where it came from.
Jaks downloads
Right Christmas & New Year are over, the snow is on the ground so I thought I would do a bit of blog hopping this morning & came across these downloads from my friend Jaks bloghttp://crafterskitchen.blogspot.com/. Hibiscus are one of my favourite flowers and I have several hibiscus bushes both here & in Cyprus, so I set to & made a card straight away. I have used 2 of her backing papers & the topper & just added a ribbon. Simple but effective. Thanks Jak for the downloads.
