This weeks challenge is Anything Goes at Divas By Design
This challenge is sponsored by Meljens & I have used Sweet Sundae for my image, which has been coloured with Promarkers.
I played around with white acrylic paint & edges the papers with it & also used it on the ice cream part of the image. It doesnt show up that well, but does give some dimension.
The background paper is from stash, no idea who's I am afraid, it was an offcut & from my oddments drawer.
I laid some gauze underneath the image, which was mounted onto a Marianne die. You can just see the Memory Box die (Catalina) which I cut out with red mirri card.
The sentiment is an old QVC one, coloured with Promarkers.
Lace & ribbon from stash, as are the flowers. The 2 with red centres I made myself to match the papers.
Don't forget to pop over to the Divas blog & see what my fellow teamies have created for you this week.

Magnolia Down Under 2nd GDT Post
Its time for another challenge over at Magnolia Down Under & this week is ''Make Your Own Embellishment''. I chose to make my own flower out of lace
I threaded cotton along the top edge of the ribbon & pulled to make the circle. Added a smaller piece of black ribbon & added a jewel & hey an easy flower. I added ribbon & leaves & a pearl decoration for dimension.
I knew I was going to use Japanese Tilda (dont ask me why, it just came to me whilst laying in bed!!!), so I started out by making my background. This took ages & ages, I used my Hougie Board to make the criss cross along the card.
I them embossed the lines using an Embossing pen (yes can you remember them haha) & Embossing powder. I then did not like it red & white, so coloured all the squares in black & embossed them too. Finally I had a background that I liked for this card. I had already cut out the frame & backed it with some sparkly material in my stash & edged the frame with Liquid Pearls.
My chopsticks are from a Glitter Girls board & once again, embossed & a little Glamour Dust added too. The flower on top is 2 petals from stash, coloured with Promarkers, shaped & glittered & a little jewel in centre.
The fan is an old wooden stamp I have by Rubber Stampede called Asian Fans. I coloured with Promarkers & Red Stickles & Glamour Dust. Finally my Tilda is also coloured with Promarkers & I have left her skin very light as the Geisha girls did, she also has the Glamour Dust treatment.
All in all, I really like this card & the way it turned out, albeit that it took a long time to create.

Magnolia Down Under GDT Spot
I was really lucky to have been picked as a GDT for this month over at Magnolia Down Under Challenges & this weeks challenge is to follow a sketch. Details of which are over on their blog.
I have used Waterlily Tilda from the new Summer Memories collection & coloured her with Promarkers. A Nestie has been used to mount her on & edged with a Promarker. I have used some fab blue & pink ribbon & made a frame around the Nestie. Added a few dew drops from my stash
The papers are a combination of Magnolia papers & stash. All edges have been edged using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Spun Sugar & Broken China.
Its the first time I have coloured her curly hair & it doesn't look too bad I think.
Added flowers from stash & you can just see the Memory Box Catalina Border die which I have cut in half & added to the card underneath the image.
The butterfly is a Magnolia die which again I have coloured with Promarkers & added a few Liquid Pearl drops to the body.
There you have it, a very pretty girly card.. Don't forget to pop over to Magnolia Down Under & see what the DT have created this week

Molly Blooms
This is the card I made yesterday instead of my Divas card duuhhh! I coloured Molly Bloom stamps Gypsy Caravan & Gypsy from the Big Top collection & coloured them with Promarkers. Now regular readers of my blog will know I do like to create scenes every now & then & this card is no exception. I cut up some acetate & used it as a mask to create the clouds by inking up with Broken China DI & created the grass with Peeled Paint DI. The trees were created using a Marianne Creatable die & coloured using Peeled Paint & Pine Needles DI. The Robin is again a Marianne Creatable die. A few dew drops & tiny flower heads complete the picture. Hand drew the birds in the sky.

Tilda on the High Seas
Well after the big party at the weekend, I am slowly getting the house & me back to normal!!! My sister comes to stay tomorrow for 5 days & then she goes back to New Zealand, so whilst I had a moment to myself, I made this card.
I used one of the stamps from the Magnolia stamp kit, as yet unnamed & teamed it with Sea Through Porthole from Bon Voyage collection. Both have been coloured with Promarkers. I added a few jewels around the edge of the porthole & edged it with Spiced Marmalade DI. Papers are Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss collection.
Added a corner which I had cut out using my Craft Robo from a template from UK Scrappers. Backed it with some matching paper to highlight it & coloured with Broken China DI. Mounted some SU banners & coloured as above. Used some letters I had in my stash.
Added flowers from stash & combined 2 ribbons to make the bow.
Finally added a charm from Hobby House which is perfect for this card.
Hopefully from next week, I will be back to blogging properly, once the excitement from the last few weeks have died down.
