Rose Scent Tilda

This is one of my new images from the Sweet Crazy Love collection, Rose Scent Tilda, which I have coloured with Promarkers. The papers are a mixture of K & Co Hopscotch pad & DCWV Far East Mat Stack. I have paper pierced all the edges & drawn faux stitching. I do love sticthing on cards, but I read somewhere that the paper dust can ruin your machine, so as mine is relatively new, I dont want to take the risk of using it for paper very much. All edges have been distressed using Tim Holtz Broken China Ink.
I mounted Tilda onto a couple of Nesties. Added ribbon, dew drops, flowers, hat pin from stash & lastly the flowery die is from Memory Box & is called Catalina border. I also coloured this with Promarkers to fit within my colour scheme.

Just For Men

There is a new challenge over on the Dream Valley challenge blog today & this fortnight it is Just For Men, so lets see your cards made for the men in our lives. Now most of us find these difficult, mainly I think because so much craft stuff is geared towards females. However Bugaboo who are sponsoring this challenge have some great stamps, so go over & take a look.
Here is my card, the papers used are from Bo Bunny Timepiece collection & the smaller topper is DCWV Old World Mat Stack. A MS punch was used to make the edging on the topper. The image & sentiment are both from Bugaboo & the image can be bought here. Coloured with Promarkers. Added a few buttons & twine & there you have a humourous Male card.

Mothers Day Lily

I was asked to make a Mothers Day card, which had flowers on it & was pretty & this is what I have come up with.
The BP is from stash & is years old. The stamp is by Elusive Images & I thought it would be different to leave it black & white. I coloured with Pumice Stone Distress Ink & Worn Lipstick & mounted it onto pink & black card from the scrap drawer (yes I actually managed to use some of my scrap drawer..lol). Added white & pink ribbon to the bottom.
The topmost flower is made by myself using a punch & embosser I bought last weekend from Stamperama. I think its by EK Success. Added a dew drop in the centre & a little glitter to the top petals to complete. I also bought a MS punch which gives me the Pine leaves. I love this shape & snapped it up when I saw it buried on a stand somewhere. I cut up a little lace to make 2 separate shapes & these I have stuck under the flowers from stash to give a little more detail. Sentiment from a QVC set bought yonks ago. The edges of the sentiment & mount is also a MS punch. I quite like the way this one has turned out.

Divas By Design Wings & Things

Its time for Team B over at Divas By Design to showcase this weeks challenge & this week its Wings & Things. This can be paper or embellishments, or images showing wings.
This week we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles
I started out choosing an orange piece of card, its so easy to go for white all the time isn't it? The BPs are both from stash. I then coloured a piece of gauze using Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink & placed onto card.
The feather came from stash, but I was not happy with the colour, so coloured with a Promarker & placed it underneath a birdcage which was from a  template over at UKScrappers, which was coloured using Spiced Marmalade again. I added some purple twine across the card which looks like the parrot is sitting on it.
A Magnolia die was used for the dragonfly, which is again coloured with both Promarker & Distress Ink. The image is Magnolia & coloured with Promarkers. I used a MS punch to create the vine down the side.
I added flowers from stash to the bottom right of card.SU die was used for the lower left, distressed again with Spiced Marmalade & dew drops added. The sentiment is an old QVC one & lastly a leaf charm added to complete the card.

Butterfly Tilda

It seems ages since I posted here, I dont know where the time goes & this last week, I have not been in my craft room much at all. Apologies as I have not got around my favourite blogs either this week.
I was asked to make a girly, glitzy card with a butterfly theme, so here is my card. The BP are from stash, I coloured the doily with a Promarker to get the colour I wanted. Butterfly Tilda is coloured with Promarkers & her wings slightly glittered.
The butterfly is a Magnolia die, the button is a SU die, as is the mount for the Happy Birthday sentiment. I just love this ribbon that my friend gave me, isn't it fab? Flowers from stash of course.
The 50 I made using a Cuttlebug alphabet die, a few buttons from stash & more of that fab ribbon & voila an Easel card with a butterfly theme as requested.

Dream Valley Challenge this week is Valentine & is sponsored by both Joanna Sheen who is kindly giving away a £10 voucher to spend in her online store, which has free postage & packing.
& One Stop Card & Craft, who are also supplying a £10 voucher to spend in the store.
Back to my card (I dont put the sponsors pictures first as that is what will show up when you view the blog on the mobile app & I would like my card to be the picture shown)
The papers are from Papermania Portobello Road & the image is Make It Crafty which I have coloured with Prisma pencils & Sansador. The hearts I cut using my Craft Robo from a template over at UKScrappers. The Love letters are from stash (had them years, not idea where they came from).
