I completely forgot to schedule this posting for last Sunday, it had been saved as draft by mistake & therefore did not publish.
Hobbycutz have another challenge & this theme is Anything Goes & is sponsored by several sponsors this time. It runs until 19th January, so there is plenty of time to enter over Christmas.

I chose to use a Mo Manning image called Facebook & I coloured it with Prisma pencils. The papers were Bo Bunny Smoochable & Crafty Individuals Background Book 1. I added a doily, some lace purchased in Turkey, a feather, again bought in Turkey & La La Land banner die.
The flowers are a mixture from stash, with the fushia made by myself using an Alys Inky Fingers kit bought from Stamparama last February. A couple of flat backed pearls added on the picture mount.
Lastly a little seam binding made into a bow & a Hobbycutz flower, covered in embossing powder completes the card.

This weeks challenge over at Divas is sponsored by Flat Friends
We were kindly given some images to use & I chose Happy New Year but I cannot see it in the shop at the moment. Coloured with Prismas & I covered the glass with Glossy Accents which has made her clothes inside the glass a slightly different colour to those outside, I quite like the effect, although it was an accident rather than planned lol. Mounted onto a couple of Nesties. The b;lack paper is from stash & the purple balloon paper is Wild Rose Studio Bella pack. Coloured the doily with pastels. I used a Magnolia Doohickey die So Wrapped Lovely, onto which I added organza ribbon. Lace came from a shop in Turkey. Sentiment is computer generated. Molly Bloom Santa

Another card I made whilst away in Lincolnshire on my crafting weekend. The image is Molly Bloom & coloured with Promarkers. The paper is Magnolia Ink Santa with Christmas Flowers. I have used several dies, a Nellie Snellen multi frame as the mount, which has Ivory Frantage & is edged with TH DI Walnut Stain. Then there is a Magnolia Doohickey tag die, again with the Frantage treatment, as is the Magnolia Doohickey So Wrapped Lovely Heart. Then there is a Marianne tree die, once more Frantaged & then a Whimsey Stamps Holly & Berries die. I created the berries with Docrafts mini jewels. The flowers are from stash, but once more there are another 2 dies used, a Memory Box pin wheel die & a Joy Crafts Vintage Flourish leaf die. I coloured the lace with a Promarker to match & added a little Bakers Twine & a sentiment from blogland. (theres a lot going on with this card but have no more photos as its already been sent out).

Hobbycutz 1st DT piece

Here is my first piece of DT work for Hobbycutz. There is a store over here that sells laser cut goodies for all your cards & scrapbooking work, so go & take a look.
This challenge theme is Christmas Decoration & the sponsor is Limited Runs. I had not come across these stamps before, but she has a great selection & I chose Santas Head to work with.
I started by cutting out 10 Spellbinder scalloped circles out of Magnolia Ink papers, 5 of each & glued them into cones. I then cut out 2 of the same circles & glued them together back to back. Onto this I glued the cones in place to fill the circle.
I then printed off 2 Santas Head & coloured with Promarkers, I used Liquid Pearls on his hat & crystal Glamour Dust on his beard.1st Santa, I placed in middle of cones & the 2nd I attached to some silver chain to allow it to hang down below the cones.
I attached the same chain from the top which you can just see in the picture & there you have my Christmas decoration.

Winter Gift

Its time for another challenge over at Stamp & Create with Magnolia
This time the theme is Winter Gifts. There is of course always the seasonal theme too & whilst this is a Christmas gift, the colours are not really traditional Christmas colours, but I wanted the pot to be used all year round, hence the choice of colours & papers.
I recently won top prize over at Whimsy Stamps & got to choose some scrummy papers as part of my prize, so these are what I have used.

I have altered an old glass candle holder & thought it would make a great pen or utensil holder on a craft desk. I covered it inside & out with the above papers. The corners are a Doohickey die, coloured with Spun Sugar TH DI. The top has pink lace around the edge with a little rose in each corner. It is of course filled with Lindt Coconut chocolates which just happen to be a friends favourite chocolates, so perfect for part of her Christmas present. (She doesn't do computers, so no chance of her seeing this lol).
The label I have stamped with Tilda holding 2 little gifts from Christmas Story 2012 collection & coloured with Prismas to match the papers.
Around the edge I have stamped in Pumice Stone TH DI with the Postcard stamps, again Magnolia & tied it with more pink ribbon & pink & white striped twine.

Watch this space lol.

Owl Togetherness

I saw this image over at Mo Mannings Digital Pencil Too & immediately wanted it for hubbys Christmas card. Its called Owl Moon & can be bought here. I have coloured them with Prismas & added a little Liquid pearl to give the snow dimension & also dotted all over to like its snowing. I added Marine Frantage around the edges of both the mount & paper & the paper is a Craft Creations from a magazine. Added a few stars, some Christmas ribbon & a Magnolia tag die onto which I have printed my own sentiment. I just think they are so cute.

Walter the Moose

Another Christmas card I'm afraid, its that time of year when thats what we are all doing. I am slowly getting there but still loads to make. Mind you next week I go away on my annual long weekend crafting with friends, so hopefully I will gets quite a few done then. We have hired a cottage in Lincolnshire & have 5 days, visiting craft shops & playing with our new goodies with no men around. Its great!!!! lol.
I chose to use Walter the Moose, a Magnolia stamp from Turning Leaves collection & coloured him with Prismas. The paper is from my stash, its in my Christmas box & I have no idea where it came from. The mount is plain card embossed with a Swiss Dots embossing folder. Onto which I have placed another Magnolia stamp Winter Forest from Christmas 2008. These are coloured with Prismas & a little Aleenes Glitter Snow on top. I then placed Walter in front of them & then used 3 Marianne tree dies placed around him to give the effect he is amongst the trees. These trees are liberally covered with the same snow.
The pointsettia which is a Tim Holtz die has had the same treatment & covered in snow & Glamour Dust, as has everything else.
The sentiment is Molly Bloom.

Snowy Wall Hanging

Divas By Design has a new challenge today & its sponsored by Bunny Zoes & the theme is Something Snowy. On a recent visit to Sir Stamp A lot, I saw something similar that someone else had made & fell in love with it. I thought I could make that, so here is my attempt at recreating it, using mostly things I already owned. I started out with a piece of board & covered it in the green paper from my stash.I then used Aleene's Glitter Snow all around the edge.
Before adding the beige paper, I cut out several Marianne Pine Needle dies & added Aged Hunter Frantage & glitter snow to them & placed them around the corners of the board & stuck them down. On the side I used a Joy Craft snowflake die & added Stampendous Crushed Gold Glass Glitter & more snow, with a red dew drop in the middle of each.
I then added Craft Creations paper & again added copious amounts of the glitter snow all around the edges again. The black die is a TH Hanging Sign & one is turned on its side to form a stand. Once again, loads of Glitter Snow has been added.
The Sentiment is an old wooden stamp, embossed with red embossing powder. The robin & reindeer are both Pink Gem digi stamps, which see the light of day every year as I love them both. Both of them have Crystal Glamour Dust added to them.

Lastly a little Christmas ribbon completed the wall hanging.

This is one of my quick Xmas cards. I used Spritz at Saturated Canary which I have coloured with Prisma pencils. The papers are a mixture, but they all come from old editions of card making magazines. I have edged some with glitter using very thin DST. The sentiment is stamped using Festive Berries TH DI & is a Molly Bloom stamp. he has a little bell on the end of his hat & the banner die is La La Land. Simple & effective.

Not a Card!

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have a challenge starting today & its ''Not a card & with a winter theme'', So your creation needs to have a winter image, and of course to use winter colours, as all the challenges have a seasonal theme as well.
I chose to decorate a tag. The papers are from a Making Cards magazine & edged with Festive Berries DI. I used a Magnolia stamp from 2008 I think. Christmas Present with Bow & coloured with Prismas. Added a poinsettia, gold berries from my Christmas stash box & a SU tag. Some red organza ribbon completes the embellies. The sentiment stamp was from last years Molly Blooms magazine.

Tilda & Telephone Booth

I was lying in bed on Saturday & this idea popped into my head to combine the Scooter Tilda with the Telephone Booth, together with the Papermania Portobello Road papers, so I set to & created this card. Now I must say, I think, this has to be one of my all time favourites, I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

I masked the two stamps together & coloured with Prisma pencils. I have edged the mount with  Pumice Stone Distress Ink. The papers are Papermania Portobello Road & all the stamps are also Portobello Road. Added a little lace from stash, a bow & flowers, also from stash. The pinwheels are made from a Memory Box die.

Molly Bloom at Xmas

Well I am busy making my Christmas cards & this year, I am trying to do more that will not need large letter stamps to keep the cost down & also to reduce the need to make boxes to send them in. I am not that successful to be honest, but this one at least can go in an envelope & not a box.
I used a Molly Bloom stamp that came with last years Christmas magazine & coloured him with Prismas. I have fallen in love with my Prismas all over again). I think the blue paper came from the same source but the beige one is a Craft Creations one. The ribbon is also from the same magazine set. The snowflake has bronze embossing powder on it & was cut out on my Robo. A few bronze pearls, a shape cut from a magazine & a sentiment complete the card.

OMG with Kenny K!

Divas by Design have another challenge starting today & this week its being sponsored by Kenny K and the theme is Use Orange.
The team were very kindly given some images to use & I chose OMG & coloured her with Prisma pencils & mounted her onto a Marianne die cut. I edged it with TH Dried Marigold DI & added a little orange embossing powder as well. The papers were from my stash. I also used a MS punch to edge the paper underneath the topper. The lace I coloured with a Promarker & added organza ribbon in lime green & orange. I also used my newest purchases which are the La La land Banner & Magnolia Doohockey So Wrapped Lovely Heart, both of which Janice at Sir Stamp A Lot ordered & kept for me whilst away on my hols. I added more of the orange embossing powders to both to add a little texture.
The twine I also coloured with Promarkers. The little sentiment stamp is again from Sir Stamp A Lot. Jewels & flowers all from stash.

Tilda & Present

I am back after having a fabulous 3 week s away at our house in Cyprus, 2 weeks with hubby, then 2 friends joined me for a week & boy did we laugh. This week has been manic as hubby has had hopefully his final operation on his knee & we can start looking forward to the New year, as this one has been so awful for us both.
Anyway, I made this card ages ago, but just didnt get around to posting it. I used Tilda on the Roof & placed her on top of an old stamp from Christmas 2009. Coloured with Prismas. Mounted onto a Spellbinders Nestie with Aged Scarlet Frantage around the edges. The Christmas die is a Marianne, again with lots of Frantage added. Vintage seam binding from stash, as are the flowers, ribbon & twine. The ticket is a freebie from blogland a long time ago.

CAS at Divas

Divas by Design challenge this week is Clean & Simple & is sponsored by 2Cute Ink, who gave us some images to play with. I chose Furry Friends & coloured with Prismas. I decoupaged the box to give some definition. The edges were distressed with Tea Dye DI. A little bit of ribbon & a computer generated sentiment completes the card. this was so hard to do, as its not my usual style, but its good to vary it once in a while.
This is a scheduled post as I am away in Cyprus for 3 weeks, so will look for challenges to enter as & when I can tear myself away from the sun.
