Happy New Year Tilda in September!

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have a new challenge today & we are still with the Fall/Autumn theme, as well as ''My Favourite Things''. The prize as always is a Magnolia stamp of your choice from the store.

So your card or project should be either Autumn colours or Fall themed, as well as using your favourite things. Dont forget to mention what you you have used on your creation as well.
I chose to use Happy New Year Tilda from Christmas 2012 collection. I think she is generic enough to be used for any celebration. I coloured her with Prismas. My papers are a combination of Canvas Corp (stripes) & Imaginisce (mustard) & stash. Onto the papers I have added Bronze Lustre Cosmic Shimmer Embossing Powder. I have mounted Tilda onto a Nellie Snellen mount & edged it with Tea Dye DI.

I added Glossy Accents to the glass with some Glamour Dust as the bubbles & used some shrink plastic to make a little wine glass embellishment, again adding a little gold Glamour Dust for bubbles. I added mini jewels to give dimension to her necklace.
The lacy edge is a Magnolia DooHickey die (Lacy Border) and again across the middle, I have put them back to back & embossed as before.

Added some seam binding and another DooHickey tag onto which I have stamped & embossed a greeting from Sir Stamp A Lot.

Urban Collection

This morning I received an email from Zoe over at Make It Crafty with news of a Graffiti party, as she has added to her Urban Collection & teamed up with Little Miss Muffet & there was some freebies to use & enter. I do have quite a lot of Zoes images & immediately started to colour. The background is a freebie, as is the Graffiti, I already had Urban Nico, so added the 3 elements together on my computer & thats it. Coloured with Prismas & mounted onto blue card. Nothing else added, no embellishments, just a great scene.

Pickles with Pointsettia

Yep its a card 2 days running!!!!! After such a trying few months, yesterday I was finally able to get into my craft room & make a card because I wanted to. Hubby has finally returned to work & is able to drive & therefore not working from home on MY computer.
I need to get on with my Christmas cards, so here goes. I have used Wild Rose Studio Pickle with Pointsettia & coloured with Prismas. Mounted onto a Nestie which has had Frantage sprinkled onto it. The ticket die is Magnolia DooHickey & the sentiment is also Wild Rose Studio. The red paper is Papermania Home for Christmas but the green one was given to me by a friend, so no idea.I have added acrylic paint around the edges of the papers. The leaf die is a Marianne & has also been Frantaged. A few berries, pearls & pointsettia from stash complete the card.

Delivery From Heaven at Divas

Divas by Design have another challenge & this week its an Anything Goes, so easy peasy. It is sponsored by Live & Love Crafts. Lets see your wonderful creations & dont forget to go over & see my fellow teamies creations too.
I have used Magnolia Delivery From Heaven stamp & coloured with Promarkers & mounted onto an oval Nestie. I have added TH DI Mustard Seed around the edges. The papers are from my stash, so no idea who to give credit to. Added lace & ribbon from stash. The twine is from Sir Stamp A Lot & the little dummy was bought from a stall at Stamperama. The little bootie came from a shop in Turkey. A feather & liquid pearls complete the embellishments. The sentiment is an old QVC kit.

Tilda with Falling Leaves

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have another challenge & This time its Fall/Autumn with Leaves as a theme.

Fall Feathers or Leaves

Use a Fall Themed image and add either Feathers or Leaves to your card

What do we consider a Fall image?:

Back to School, Leaves, cooler weather, windy, brooms, Halloween, "Thanksgiving"(American and Canadian holiday but is often a time of giving thanks), Birthdays. Colors are usually darker: Orange, Brown, Purple, Red, etc...

The prize is as always 1 stamp from the store

I have chosen Tilda with Falling Leaves & coloured her with Promarkers & a little highlighting with Prismas.

I bought some material last year & used that to back my card to provide the background. I then created a frame with some corrugated card, which has been treated with Acrylic Paint & Shabby White Frantage.

The ribbon came from a haberdashers in Turkey & again has had the acrylic paint  added. The sentiment is Dimension Fourth, coloured with DI & various leaves added for decoration.

Skating Tilda

This weeks challenge over at Divas By Design is Water, so lets see your creations using water somewhere, whether that be in the image or papers used. There will be a surprise prize for the winner I chose to make a Christmas card as I am so behind with these this year & I now have a grand sum of 3 made!
I have used a back ground scene from Make It Crafty called Ice Skating Lake, which can be found here. I have coloured this with my Prisma pencils again & added Glossy Accents to the lake to give an ice effect. The trees have Fluffy Snow on them which I think was from Woodware (the stuff you heat up & it puffs up).
I have added Skating Tilda, again coloured with pencils & added a little gold Glamour Dust to her muff & tops of boots. The paper is Craft Individuals & the sentiment is an old blog freebie. Ribbon from stash. There are a few pearls added & a Christmas tree embellishment too.
By the time this is published, I will be in hospital but coming out hopefully today, so will add challenges once I am home.
