Flip Flop Tilda

This is the first card I have sat down & made since coming back from holiday that I just made because I wanted to. Its not a DT card, just my favourite Magnolia & this one is Flip Flop Tilda from Summer Memories 2012 collection. I have teamed her up with Romantic Sunset, which is once more coloured with Prismas.
I have coloured her with Prisma pencils & its the first time I have done black hair. Quite pleased with it, but more practice needed.
The papers are from Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss Collection & all edges are distressed with TH inks, Spiced Marmalade & Broken China.
The butterfly is a Magnolia die cut & ribbon & flowers from stash.

The text is also Magnolia & that little charm is so cute, perfect fro this card I thought.

Punches & Dies

Well after a month away in Cyprus in the searing heat & a week getting things straight back here in UK, I have finally made  a card!!!!!
This fortnight its Punches & Dies over at Dream Valley Challenges & is sponsored by OSCC

I have used Edwin on Xmas Eve & coloured him with Promarkers. The Christmas trees are a Marianne die & the paper used was Papermania Christmas Tidings. Added Santa is coming to town Magnolia die & a fabric tree in the corner, with some wide blue ribbon from stash. Added liquid pearl all over the card to look like its snowing.
Now that life is almost back to normal, I will get around to blogging & commenting on my fav blogs. Mind you, don't think I have been missed anyway lol.

Summer

This Dream Valley challenge is all about Summer & is being sponsored by Squiggle Stamps & the DT were lucky to be given an image to colour of their choice. I chose Miss Evie Flower Power & coloured her with Promarkers. The papers I used were from Wild Rose Studio Bella paper pack. I edged them all with TH Distress Ink Dusty Concord & Spiced Marmalade. The flourish is a Sissiz die. The birdhouse & fence are Marianne Creatables, again coloured with DI. Evie is mounted onto a shape I cut out on my Robo, added a little gauze & ribbon from stash.I placed the flowers so it hopefully looks like she is carrying a garland of flowers. Placed a few more in corner too. The sentiment is an old QVC one, coloured with DI.
This is a scheduled post as I am still away on holiday. If the internet is not too slow, I will try to find challenges to enter, but it is very hit & miss.

Xmas in July

This week over at Divas is Xmas in July & is sponsored by Pink Gem. This is one of my favourite stamps & I have used it loads over the years & this year will be no exception. He is called Robin with Mistletoe & coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania from last year. I mounted him onto Labels 2 Nesties & edged all the edges with Pinflair Snow Dust. Folded a ribbon & added that to the side. Sentiment from stash, bought at a local craft shop a long time ago.
I am late posting this as blogger did not schedule correctly & I was away for a few days from the house & did not take my computer.

Anything But Square

My card is a side stepper card & the paper is a Magnolia Lazy Summer Days Blue Line & all the other stamps are Molly Bloom & are Deck Chair, Seaside Sandcastles, Paddling Pool, Sunshine Molly, Seaside Beach Huts & Molly at the Beach. They are all coloured with Promarkers.

Tilda & Strawberries

I finally found time to make a card this afternoon after making sure my DT work is up to date for July, as I go away on Sunday for 4 weeks. Lets hope that the electricity & Telecoms in Cyprus dont go on strike as they are planning to do, because no fridge, air con etc in 100oC heat is no joke & no internet either. Oh deep joy! Keeping my fingers crossed that they sort it out before I get there.
Anyway back to this card. I chose Strawberry Yummy from Sweet Rainbow collection & coloured her with Promarkers. Mounted her onto Nestie Labels 11 & edged it with TH DI Peeled Paint. The papers are Bo Bunny & Black Market Paper Society. You can just see the Catalina Memory Box die in the middle of the card.

This die is a Sissix, Flowers, branches & leaves. I have had it ages & never used it before. (neglected stash ) Added mini jewels to the middle of the flowers. The lace I coloured with TH DI Dusty Concord. All edges were distressed too.

Added a cute little strawberry charm & a few dew drops, as well as loads of flowers & there you are.
Apart from my DT cards which I hope will work as they are all scheduled, this is the last card you will see for a while as I will be busy by the pool etc etc.......

Things with Wings

This fortnight over at Dream Valley our new challenge is Things with Wings. We are being sponsored by Digi Doodle  who are very kindly giving our winner a $10 voucher to spend in store.
I chose one of my beloved Tildas, she came with my Spring Club & is on the latest collection. I coloured her with Promarkers & sat her on the bench in the Romantic Sunset scene from Wedding 2010 collection. The paper which unfortunately you cant see much of is Magnolia & has ships on, which I thought was apt. A doily, dew drops, shells & flat blooms complete the card.
