Meadow Daisy

Its time for another Magnolia challenge over at Stamp & Create with Magnolia & its still the spring theme but with butterflies, so plenty of scope to make some stunning creations.
On my card I have used Magnolia Meadow Daisy & coloured with Promarkers. The papers are My Minds Eye Miss Caroline All Dolled Up . The butterfly I cut out using my Craft Robo, coloured with Promarkers & glittered & added bling. Ribbon from stash. The large green flower is Gallery Roses Pierre & the rest are from my stash.Added a few pearls & jewels. Charm is a little rainbow. The postcard is Portobello Road Papermania, as are the stamped postmark & sentiment.

My card this week uses a Wags n Whiskers digi stamp available here. I have been experimenting with TH Distress Inks again, I need more practice for sure & need to find decent paper that is no more than 180gsm for painting with the inks as my new printer does not take anything more than 180gsm & its an absolute pain. So if anyone can recommend a good paper for painting with Distress Inks & no more than 180gsm, please let me know. The papers I have used are Bo Bunny Alora. The embellishments are Magnolia Doily Flower & Magnolia Three Ticket die. The flourish is a Cheery Lyn. The charm is a little umbrella. The papers are edged with both TH Peeled Paint & Festive Berries & I have also added another Magnolia Doohockey die Tildas Lace Border to the layers of paper underneath the image. lastly a little Bakers twine added to the charm.

Spring is Coming

I have used Rose Scent Tilda & coloured her with Prisma pencils.The papers used are Fancy Pants Love Note. All edges are edged with TH DI Victorian Velvet. I have used a Memory Box Catalina Border die but you can hardly see it as I covered it lol. The fence die is a Marianne. Charm is a little butterfly Flowers from stash. Sentiment ticket is Papermania & a big fancy ribbon complete the card.

Valentines at Dream Valley

The challenge over at Dream Valley is Valentines & is sponsored by Meljens Designs. We were lucky enough to be given some images to play with & I chose Apple of My Eye & coloured with Promarkers. Mounted it onto a circle Nestie. This is such a simple card by my standards! The patterned paper I think is Kaisercraft Twig & Berry & the plain green from stash. The corners are a Cheery Lyn die. Ribbon from stash, as are the flowers (think the red one is Prima) & there you have my DT card.

Stamp & Create with Magnolia Challenge 2

The challenge starting today at Stamp & Create with Magnolia for a fortnight is Spring with flowers & blooms. As our challenges have a seasonal theme as well, you must use a spring themed image & this could be any of the following. Flowers, Butterflies, New Beginnings (baby/wedding). Rain, Sunshine, Outdoors. Love, Mothers Day, Birthdays, with colours that are more bright or pastel than winter colours. The prize is 1 free Magnolia stamp of your choice from the store, so lets see your entries.

Back to my card. The papers are Craft Creations Green Diamonds & Green Meadow. The background image is Make It Crafty & called Daffodil Dell, coloured with Promarkers. I have masked the Watering Can from Chasing Butterflies & Honeybee Tilda from Summer Memories & placed them in the background. The sky is too bright for me but I went wrong & had to recover it, so its looks more like underwater I think lol. Still at least I had a go! Flowers, dewdrops & ribbon all from stash. The sentiment is an old QVC one. The butterfly charm is also from stash.

Tilda with Lace Jean at Divas

Its time for Team B to showcase this weeks challenge over at Divas By Design & this week its to use the colours. Blue, Brown & Cream & is sponsored by Live & Love Crafts.

On my card I have used Tilda in Lace Jeans from Butterfly Dreams collection & coloured her with Prismas. The gorgeous brown BP is Chocolate & Kraft Ribbon Stripe by Canvas Corp. The blue paper is from my offcuts drawer & as it was textured, I ran a Prisma over it to bring out the texture more.Tilda is mounted onto a Nestie circle & surrounded by a Sissix frame die, all of which is mounted onto a ribbled piece of card coloured with Walnut Stain DI. Added some crochet cream lace & some gorgeous brown lacy ribbon as well. Flowers are a variety from my stash & the corners are Creative Expressions.

Mondays Candy at Stamp & Create

I have used papers from stash (purple ones I think were Wild Rose Studio ''Bella'' & edgedthem with TH DI Milled Lavender.The image is Just Inklined & I have decoupaged, yes decoupaged. I know, I know we don't use that much anymore but this image was perfect for the ladythe card is going to..I added a Magnolia Doohickey ticket die & a Magnolia Doohickey Dragonfly die which can be purchased at Stamp & Create The sentiment was computer generated& the flourish is a Cheery Lyn die. The ticket & dragonfly are coloured with TH Dusty Concord& the flourish is coloured with a Promarker.

Its Monday, so its time for  Stamp and Create's weekly candy!!!
