Thinking of Spring

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have a new challenge & the theme is Thinking of Spring & with the seasonal twist of spring colours too. The usual prize is

I chose to use Tilda with Big Tulip Pot from Little Easter Collection & coloured her with Prisma pencils.I edged the Nestie mount with a Promarker. The papers are 2 12x12 papers I had in my stash with no name on, so no idea where they came from. the butterflies are Magnolia dragonflies with the tail cut off to look like butterflies. I have added a little Frantage Shabby White to the body of the larger butterfly. The grass is a Joy Crafts die & the fence is a Marianne die, both coloured with Prismas. Assortment of flowers from stash, ribbon from Hobby House & the letters from an old QVC kit.
I am still away, so will look for challenges as I can.

With Love Tilda as a Clown

Divas By Design have a new challenge starting & the theme is With Love. It is sponsored by Mei Flower. I have interpreted it slightly differently to the obvious but still kept to the theme. I have used Tilda as a Clown from Once Upon A Time collection & coloured her with Prisma pencils. These papers came from a Making Cards magazine, which were perfect for this image. The With Love was a flag from the same source, which I stuck onto a cocktail stick coloured with a Promarker & wrote on With Love.

 It is now a generic card & can keep in my box to be used as & when needed. The flowers & ribbon are from stash.
This is a scheduled post as I am away, but will look for challenges as & when I can.

Eileen & Potters Bench

Heres a card just because I had some spare time, no DT work, jut made it because I wanted to, how unusual is that these days it seems?
I chose to use 2 digi images, I have had for years by Mo Manning over at Digital Pencil Too, called Eileen & Potters Bench. Both are coloured with Prismas & Eileen is mounted onto foam dots to raise her up from the bench. The yellow paper is from the Bearly Mine Spring Delights set..
The purple die down the side is Memory Box Catalina & the yellow one across the bottom is also Memory Box Spring Border. The sentiment I purchased from Sir Stamp A Lot & it was stamped onto a SU die I think (my friend gave me loads of them). Flowers from stash & seam binding also from stash.

Vintage Romance

Bearly Mine have a new monthly challenge starting today & this is my first card as part of the DT. The challenge theme is Vintage Romance, so I once again dug out my Joanna Sheen Victorian Romance CD & picked this image/topper. I mounted it onto card which I coloured with a Promarker to match the papers which are Bearly Mine Vintage Fantasy.

 Onto which I have stamped little flowers using an Alis Inky Fingers stamp & Magnolia Postcard stamp. The banner die is La La Land & all flowers from stash, as are the pearls.

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have another challenge starting today & the theme is Use Some Red.

I chose to use Edwin with Sack from A Christmas Story 2012. I coloured him with Prismas & used Fluffy Stuff for his fur collar etc. Edged the Nestie mount with Red Embossing Powder. The papers were freebies from a Making Cards magazine.Added red ribbon from a friends cake that I pinched lol. The flower came from Hobby House & the berries & small flowers are from stash & probably came from Thailand last year. The sentiment is also a Magnolia stamp.

Vintage with Lace

Over at Divas By Design we have a new challenge starting & the theme is Vintage with Lace & sponsored by Live & love Crafts. I chose to use both papers & an image from Joanna Sheen Victorian Romance CD. I edged the paper in Festive Berry DI. I hand cut a heart from one of the papers & stamped a Magnolia Postcard stamp onto it. The flourish is from Hobbycutz & embossed with red embossing powder. Added some lace from stash which has been coloured with Promarkers & a charm & dew drops.

Bearly Mine news

For those eagle eyed followers of my blog will have seen I have updated it & included Bearly Mine DT details as I have some really exciting news. I am now on the Bearly Mine DT & will start on 1st February. They say 3rd time lucky as I had tried twice before. To say I am pleased is an understatement!
