Not around for while

Just in case anyone is interested, I have some health issues myself & need to go into hospital & my hubby has had an accident which means he is immobile, & will be incapacitated for weeks, so card making is not on my radar at the moment.

Elephants Dont Forget!

Dream Valley have another challenge for you & this week its Animals & is sponsored by Robyns Fetish. I chose to use An Elephant Never Forgets which can be purchased here 
I coloured it with TH Distress Inks & added Aged Silver Frantage to the mount (it looks gold in the picture). The die is a Nellie Snellen multi frame & the tag is a Magnolia die. The sentiment is my own & computer generated. The paper is Bo Bunny Zoology Collection.  Flowers & Ribbon from stash, as are the pearls.

Get Well at Divas

Its Team B turn over at Divas By Design & this challenge is sponsored by Shape EZ & is called Shape It Up. Unfortunately I did not have a template to use so have made a swing card & made this in about 2 hours as my crafting brain has gone walk about at the moment.
I used an image from Stitchy store which I got whilst being on their DT, which I coloured with Promarkers & Prismas. The papers are First Edition Isobelle & edged with TH Broken China DI. The ticket die is Magnolia with a SU sentiment stamp. A few dew drops & ribbon complete the card.

Drip Drop Tilda

Stamp & Create with Magnolia have another challenge & the theme is Spring Showers, now this does not have to have rain, it can be rain, a rainbow or clouds, so dont feel it can only be rain. The prize is as below.

I chose to use Drip Drop Tilda which was a special edition from here & coloured her with Prisma pencils. The papers are Papermania Designstax & Black Market Paper Society Let It Bloom. I have gone a bit mad on the Frantage lol. I created the back ground of the mount with Pan Pastels, so there are clouds behind Tilda & added Glossy Accents to look like rain.

I used a Magnolia Christmas Lace die & added the waste to the top of the card as I liked the shape of it. Added the usual ribbon, charm, flowers & Candy & there you have the finished card.

80 & Pretty at Dream Valley

Dream Valley have another challenge today & its No Squares Here (No square cards) & is sponsored by Craft Ribbons

Now I sat for almost 2 hours , playing around with images, shapes, themes & I could not get any inspiration & loads went in the bin. I knew I had to make an 80 for a relative so wanted to combine this challenge with the need for this card. Anyway I eventually used a La Pashe image already coloured (I had wasted too much time faffing about) which was decoupaged. The papers are both Bo Bunny Prairie Chic & Ambrosia collections I have edged the pink one with TH DI Victorian Velvet & used Shabby White Frantage on the green paper. The butterfly has been cut out on my Craft Robo with a template from UKScrappers & I have embossed it with pink embossing powder & more Frantage. Added a few pearls, lace & flowers all from stash. The 80 was a Cuttlebug alphabet die & again covered with Frantage.
This post is scheduled as I am away for the weekend, so will look for challenges once I am back.

Tailor Tilda

Its time for another challenge over at Stamp & Create with Magnolia & this one is Spring with Buttons.

I chose to use Tailor Tilda & she is coloured with Prisma pencils. She is mounted onto a Nestie & as I did not have any Frantage when I made this card, I used ultra thick embossing powder around the edges. The papers are Papermania Happy Days, which go together with this image perfectly, as they have a sewing theme.

The corner had the same treatment too.

As did the ribbon lol. The tape measure is an old stamp & stamped in TH DI Dried Marigold. Added a few buttons tied with Bakers Twine, some orange organza ribbon & a little Sewing machine charm.

Indian Tilda at Divas By Design

This weeks challenge over at Divas is to be inspired by a movie & is sponsored by Live & Love Crafts

As it seems ages since I made a card with Tilda, I decided to use Indian Tilda, I have never used her before, so thought it was time to get her out of the packet!! I figured she would go well with The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel movie which has been in the cinemas not that long ago & is set in India.
I coloured Tilda with my Prisma pencils & mounted onto black card, which I have dabbed with orange acrylic paint. The papers (chosen for their orange colour) are from my drawer, so no idea who or what they are. All the edges are heat embossed & distressed. If you have seen the film you will know that the hotel is really shabby, so I wanted to try & create that on the card. Added a postcard stamp from Papermania & added letters which are from my stash drawer. The peg, I heat embossed using black sparkle embossing powder.. Added ribbon & jewels from stash, together with a flower that sort of resembles a marigold lol.
So theres my card inspired by a movie, my fellow teamies have made some gorgeous cards, so dont forget to pop over & see what they have made too.
