Sugar Nellie

Over at Kit & Clowder Facebook page they are having a party as there is now 4K members & there are lots of competitions & give aways. This is an image given away free by Sugar Nellie & can be got from here. Just become a member of their page & you can download it for nothing. I have coloured it with Promarkers, not very successfully though, I couldn't get my colouring hat on today for some reason. I added a few little beads to look like  sprinkles & can see I have missed a couple in the photo, but have corrected it now lol.

Anyway the papers are a mixture of Papermania & Docrafts I think. I have had them so long, that I can't find any details about them. I have coloured the backing card to match the tones of the card, which is a challenge over at Little Darlings FB page. The flowers are all from Thailand. The rick rack came from HobbyHouse. The gold ribbon was given to me by a friend, who keeps all her ribbons for me. The tag is Magnolia Vol 1 DooHickey club set & the sentiment is from an old Anna Griffin set bought from QVC years ago.

Secret Box

Warning!!! Photo heavy post lol.
We have another challenge starting over at Divas By Design & its an easy one Anything Goes & is sponsored by Dies to Die For.
A few months ago, I attended a Distress Ink class over at Sir Stamp A lot & this is what we made, a secret box.

It is decorated with Magnolia papers & using Magnolia images too. All the scenes are painted with Distress Inks.

The hair on this one is awful, can you tell, this was the first one I painted lol.

The clouds are made using a template.

The flowers on the top are made using dies. One of which I bought, which is a Die-namics Rolled daisy & the other one,was provided in the class.

The leaves are a Martha Stewart pine leaf die.

There you have it, a secret box.

Just Inklined Bells

Just playing about again & coloured up this image by Just Inklined called Bells. It is coloured with Promarkers. The papers are Papermania Home For Christmas & the stripey one is from stash & was a scrap piece. I have added Frantage to the edges of the image & Aleenes Glitter Snow to the edges of the papers. The tree die is a Marianne & the lamp post if a Magnolia DooHickey. The snowflake is Joy Crafts & all have had the glitter snow added in various amounts. Ribbon came from Thailand. The ticket die is also Magnolia DooHickey & the sentiment is an old one from a QVC kit bought years ago.

Crafty Sentiments Bird House

Bearly Mine have a new challenge starting today , which will run for the month of September & this time its a colour theme with autumnal colours as below.

I have used papers from the Bearly Mine store Fall Fancy, which are perfect for this theme & is a new release this year.
The image is Crafty Sentiments Bird House, coloured with Distress Inks. The little bird & house are a Marianne die, as is the fence, all come from the same set. LR0205. The leaves are from Magnolia Vol 1 die club set (there are other uses for them besides seaside themes), as is the banner at the top right. I have stamped onto that using DI again & the sentiment is from an old QVC kit. I added a little vintage seam binding ribbon, purchased from Wild Orchid Crafts. The ribbon is one of those sticky backed ribbons, that we all used to buy in the early days & the flowers are mostly from Thailand, apart from the spirals, which are a Memory Box pinwheel die.

Whimsy Stamps Flower Girl

Oops I am late with this card, woudn't mind,But I had made it & just plain forgot to write up a post!
Divas By Design have a new challenge today & its sponsored by Crafty Devils

The theme is Happy Birthday, so a nice easy one.
My image I have coloured with Promarkers & was the image used by Alyce over at Kit and Clowder for her live colouring tutorial & is from Whimsy Stamps & is called Flower Girl.
I have no idea where the paper came from, I really must make a note of these things when I make the card!!
The spiral edges are a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Office Supplies. The flourish is Cherry Lynn Fanciful Flourish, flowers & ribbon from stash & the film strip was from Donna over at Bearly Mine, who gave it to us on the DT. Butterfly is from Cyprus, coloured to match. The pull out on the top is Magnolia Vol 1 die set.

Bank Holiday Sale

Donna over at Bearly Mine Designs has a Bank Holiday sale  starting tomorrow & will run until Tuesday at midnight. It also includes her new papers Halloween Fantasy which are launched tomorrow too.

Spritz!

Its my turn for an inspirational post over at Bearly Mine Challenges & I have chosen to start on my Christmas cards, I currently have 5 made, so this is now my 6th & I am trying to make most of them fit into an envelope rather than a box, as it took me as long last year to make the boxes as it did the blooming cards!!
I have coloured the Spritz image from Saturated Canary with Distress Inks, following on from my recent class over at Kit and Clowder. I just love using this medium & cant wait for there to be a pencil class, as I will be signing up for that as well. I also want to use my Promarkers more & have bought a class from Donna Marie Jerrett specifically for Promarkers, which is packed full of information & tutorials, so I going to be busy practicing my colouring me thinks.
The papers are Bearly Mine Christmas Sparkle & I have altered the green one from a blue tone to green, which is the beauty of digital papers.

The edging on the green paper is a Martha Stewart punch & all edges have been Glamour Dusted. The banner flags are from the recent Magnolia DooHickey Volume 1 die set. A few flat backed pearls complete the picture & they were purchased in Thailand.
