OSAAT Autism Challenge 30 & blog candy

One Stitch At A Time has a very special challenge for you this week...We are challenging you to make a special  "Rainbow Themed" card - Anything goes type of challenge, but must have a rainbow or the colors of a rainbow in your creation. The reason for this Rainbow challenge is in honor of a very special little guy named Cameron.

If you click on the badge below, you can read his story...

http://fortheloveofcameron.com/

A little History and the reason for this Super Challenge this week...

A very very good friend of Stitchy's who is known in the digital world by the name "FUNKY" ,

has built a beautiful fundraiser blog for her grandson Cameron..He is autistic and Funky and her daughter

are striving to help Cameron..

Some of you may know Funky, she has been in the digital scrapping world for a very long time.

If you could find it in your heart to help Funky and her little guy out, it will not go unrewarded.

We know times are very hard for everyone right now, so if you can't give even a dollar,

please don't feel bad, but please do go and read his story, he's quite a character lol..

Thank you in advance to all that take part in this very special challenge - have fun & good luck!!!

We have 10 GREAT PRIZES FOR 10 equally great WINNERS...and that is only at the main blog...

Prize #1 is all 5 of My (Stitchy Stamps) New Release Stamps

As this is such a special cause, I have made two examples this week

This one is by JLJ Designs over at the Stitchy & I Did It Creations store .I cut up various pieces of different papers & stuck them onto my card, then cut up strips & placed them on top to create a grid of colour. Printed the image onto card, glittered the flag in rainbow colours. Found a copyright free rainbow on the internet & placed the text over the top.

This is a set of papers by Toucan Scraps over at the store again especially made for the challenge. This time I used a template from UKScrappers for a paper doily & cut it out on my Robo. Placed an eyelet at the top with some rainbow fibres & hey presto, a wall hanging for my neice Hannah. Added flowers & a tag from stash with a brad & voila!

Entered into the following challenges
Timbroscrapmania Anything Goes
Paper Pretties Brads/Eyelets (on doily)
Southern Girls Anything Goes
YNS Anything Goes

Last but not least I have a little blog candy to give away. Those of you who follow my blog, will see I have been making my own flowers lately, so I have a selection to give away along with  8 snowflake cuttlebugged  pieces of card. Its not a lot, but nevertheless a gesture in aid of a good cause. All I would ask is that you comment & think about becoming a follower, although its not necessary to win. I may vary the contents slightly but there will not be less than photographed & could be more...lol. I will pick a winner next Sunday night & post the winner then.

Finally at the end of a long post, did you notice how I did all the text in rainbow colours??????
