Inspired By a Movie

Its time for a new challenge over at Divas By Design & the theme is Inspired By A Movie. The film I am inspired by is The Beach with Leonardo DiCaprio. All those fabulous scenes of beaches in Thailand. I chose to use Flip Flop Tida & Romantic Sunset stamps & coloured them both with Prismas. The paper is Bo Bunny Barefoot & Bliss. The seam binding from stash, as are the palm trees, which I have had years. The shells I picked myself last year, knowing I could use them at some point on a card lol & the film strip is from Bearly Mine papers, printed onto acetate.
I am away in Cyprus, so will look for challenges as & when.

Time

Its my turn to post an inspirational post over at Bearly Mine Challenges today & I have used 2 sets of papers for this card. The brown one is a Brand new set Krafty Wishes

& the blue one is from The Boys Zone

The various stamps are from a Creative Expressions set called time & all of them have been stamped, coloured with TH DI Salty Ocean & Walnut Stain inks. The clock die is a Marianne. Not much more I can say, apart from its another male card for my box lol.

Back to my card, where I have used Summer Floral Delights. I edged the backing paper with Spun Sugar TH DI & put some faux stitching around the edges. The clock face dies are Marianne, again cut out of Summer Floral papers with a little stencilling & faux stitching again. Happy Birthday is coloured with Spun Sugar DI & stamped with Victorian Velvet DI. Stamp from Dimension Fourth.
It is my birthday & wedding anniversary today & I am away on holiday, but will enter this into challenges as I can.

Magnolia Tulips at Divas

 Todays challenge over at Divas By Design is Easter/Spring & sponsored by Hobbycutz. As I dont send any Easter cards, I decided to go with the spring theme & chose to use Tulip Wheelbarrow & Tilda with Armful of Tulips, both from Butterfly Dreams. I coloured with my Prismas. I raised Tilda up with foam pads to give more dimension & added card mounts bigger than the image, which were coloured with Promarkers to match the papers.. I added a little stamp & used Worn Lipstick DI. The papers are all Papermania Rose Garden. The banner die is La La land, the ticket stamp is also Papermania I think, but I seem to have lost the cover, so not sure. Th flowers are Tim Holtz Tattered Garland & I made them up using the same papers & drew some veins into the leaves.

The other banner die is also La la Land & I used Dovecraft letters to make the sentiment. A few pearls from stash complete the card.

Tim Holtz Tattered Garland

I recently bought the Tim Holtz Tattered Garland die from Sir Stamp A Lot when I went to a class recently & here is my first play. The papers are from stash & were from bits & bobs drawer, so don't know whose they are. The yellow one I ran through the Cuttlebug with Swiss Dots folder & then inked with TH Walnut Stain ink. The flowers are made from the paper beneath & I have mixed & matched the petals & leaves to create this tonal floral display.Ribbon from stash (originally from Thailand) & sentiment was computer generated.

Spring Is In The Air at Bearly Mine

Its time for a new challenge over at Bearly Mine Challenges & the theme is Spring Is In The Air. I have used a Wild Rose Studio Bees with Cupcake stamp which I won over at Magnolia-licious recently. I coloured it with Prismas. Mounted onto a circle Nestie & a doily. The paper is Floral Surprise by Bearly Mine

Added ribbon from Hobbyhouse & the laser cut is Hobbycutz, covered in Shabby White Frantage. The flowers are an assortment from stash & a Memory Box pinwheel die.
