I recently went to a distress ink class at S
ir Stamp A Lot & met some lovely new people, whose blogs I will be following in the future. We all learnt a lot & made a fab box, which I will show you at a later stage. I decided to have a practice & chose to use Castle of the Guard. Edwin with Derby Hat & Vintage Telephone Booth, all from Little London collection. They are all coloured with Distress Inks. I have mounted them onto a Spellbinder Nestie Lacy Squares. The papers are Papermania Portobello Road. The tag die is Magnolia DooHickey. The blue across the bottom is old shoe laces stuck together with some pearl beading in between, this came from Thailand, as did all my flowers. The jewels are from stash & once again the red embellishment, also came from Thailand. (Its handy having a friend who visits her son over there, who is a card maker too). I still need lots of practice but quite pleased with the results.

Well you have totally mastered that class!!! I haven't had time to practice anymore yet but I thought it was a brilliant day and I think I learnt loads too!!
