Blog Hop today & Blog Candy!

Bella Studio Digi Challenge is having a blog hop today to celebrate its first challenge success.

Now for anyone who has not done a blog hop, this is how to play: To participate in the Weekly Challenge, please create a *new* project using any Bella Digi iImage following the current week's theme. You must link to your project using the link tool at the bottom of the post on the main Bella Challenge Blog. A winner will be chosen via random.org and that person will receive the blog candy listed in the challenge post. In addition, the DT will choose their favorite three projects from all participants and ONE winner will be chosen to be the following week's Guest Designer. To be considered for the top three, you must have purchased an image from the shop (unless otherwise noted)...however, you don't have to use the purchased image in that week's challenge. During New Release Blog Hops a special blinkie will be embedded into one DT member's post. If you find that image, make sure you note it in your comment on that blog. Ill give you a hint, its not me, ha ha. One winner will be chosen at random to receive ONE new pre-selected image from that month's release.

Now this weeks challenge is to use a sentiment in your project, using any Bella images with rules as above. You also need to link back directly to your blog entry for us to leave comments. We will choose an overall winner, who will win the Blog Candy aside from the blog hop prize.

So back to the Blog Hop, you need to start at Bella Studio Digi Challenge, then:
Lora
Dawn (thats here)

Last but not least, I am giving away some blog candy to someone who is both a follower & leaves me a comment, so in order to win it, please leave a comment & I will pick a winner at random to win the candy. Feel free to take the picture & post on your blogs, so as to spread the word. There is a roll of Ivory Chiffon Ribbon.2 packets of Die Cut Shapes. A Lasting Friends layered Sentiments collection. Ok, as part of the Bella Studio Digi Divas, I have to take turns in explaining a technique or "how to" every now & then. Over at Bella Studio challenge blog, it is my turn today & I have explained what a sketch is.
Go take a look and whilst there, grab the free image & enter the challenge, who knows you could be the winner of a gift certificate or be a future guest designer.

One Stitch At A Time

Stitchy over at One Stitch At A Time
Is having a DT call, they are increasing their DT because of the workload on the existing DT. You had to obtain an image from Stitchy herself, use it & post it. She will make her choices from there. I have worked with Stitchy & her stamps before, so would love the opportunity of doing the same again, however I do not think for one minute I will be successful.
The image is called Sparkles, so I thought I would glitter her up a bit.
BP & card & mirri card from stash
Nellie Snellen die used for topper mount
Martha Stewart "Rings" punch around the corners.
Glitter Girls punch for the rounded edges
Flowers from stash
Sentiment stamp Stamping Up
Coloured in with Prisma pencils & blended with Sansador.
Glamour Dust gold used to accentuate her wings.

Delightful Inspiration

This is a free image from Delightful Inspiration. The idea is you design a project using the free image & then for the next challenge you get another free image. Its a great way of getting images & entering a challenge at the same time.
I have coloured it with Prisma pencils & decoupaged the flowers, so they sit proud of the pot. I added Stickles to the centre of each flower as well, to make them sparkle, altho it is difficult to see in the photo as they are small.
The BP is Dovecraft Rose Garden
Nesties Label 2, chalked in a pearlescent soft blue around the edges
Brads from stash around the corners.
Martha Stewart punch used for the corners of the BP.
Sparkly blue ribbon from stash
