Playing with Gilding Flakes & Gilding Wax

This is not my usual style of card at all & I just made it so I could play, with no DT work or ulterior motive in mind. I just wanted to play with my gilding wax & flakes & a mask that I bought last year & have not played with before.
I started off by using the mask as a stencil & used Walnut Stain DI, leaving the keys white. I then used Gilding Wax on some keys at random & cut out 2 keys masked onto scrap paper. These keys I used bronze gilding wax on & on the key fob part, gilding wax again & added them using foam pads to give more dimension. The wooden decorative circle is from Hobbycutz & this I added gilding wax to around the edges & middle only, leaving parts in its natural state. The sentiment had the gilding wax treatment too & the heart was hand cut & gilded. The edges were again gilded with the gilding wax. Its good to try new things & whilst I love my stamping & colouring, I do enjoy just playing.
